This final piece was inspired by our society which is obsessed with the celebrity culture and appearance. A big issue where many modern people seem to express concern is ageing. There is an endless advertising campaign offering products which claim to make you look younger. I used famous faces to make this a comical and powerful piece of work. I also used poetry by W.H Auden which can be seen bordering each portrait as I found these poems about time particularly moving. I produced this using mixed media of mainly collage, pen (biro) and watercolour.
