Time Piece is a text based work using two faces of a German slave clock. The work depicts the text “Remember to Forget” and “Forget to Remember” in cyclical repetition presenting a text that asks us to focus on the here and now but with two very different perspectives. The text when read in one cyclical order repeats a positive mantra asking us to forget our past memories and move forward to the future with the passing of time and the other appears amnesiac in its counter repetition.
