Nexus 40 000 is part of a bigger project called Color of Sound whose idea is primarily focused on the connection between visual reception and matching sounds, i.e. their mutual overlap and complement. Specifically, it is connected to synaesthesia, a process in which colors and shapes can be heard, smelled or tasted.



Sculpture is made by multiplication of one object. Basically, this piece is focused on experimenting with simple, everyday things that can individually be very common, such as a simple plastic straw. However, by multiplying the basic material unit we get a completely new image, in which individual and common exceeds its established form and function, and by creating a new context it gains new functional features.
