A pair of wall mounted, illuminated lightboxes which present my thoughts on the subject of the after-life, or lack thereof. First exhibited in October 2012 as part of 'Day of the Dead - Artists on Mortality' at the Refinery Artspace.
It's virtually impossible to 'classify' these pieces using Saatchi's category options - I do my best but so it's clear, what you are looking at is two separate, wall mounted illuminated acrylic boxes, powered by 240V. They have a power cable coming out the bottom of each piece. The plastic boxes are overlaid with self-adhesive vinyl graphics, in this case a translucent indigo (that looks like ultra violet light) and a matte black. They look stunning!
