Borley Rectory has been referred to as 'the most haunted house in England'. This was on account of the events that occurred there. The building and its ground were subject to phenomena such as ghostly apparitions, messages from the dead, poltergeist activity and phantom sounds.
Borley Rectory was destroyed by fire, as the grounds burnt a nun dressed in grey was sighted slipping away from the inferno.
The paper may appear a little crumpled as I have used old paper from the 1950's. I often draw on top of old plans. These plans often have large areas without any print. I have used these segments for the Borley Rectory drawings. I used old paper as I wanted the drawings them to feel that they have come from the past.
