Shapes define reality,
the mind dissolves an revises, handing them over to the soul with a new meaning,
the pencil as tool to transform them in a symbol visible to everyone.
In my quest to go beyond the visible I asked myself how would a feeling, or a poem look like if drawn?
What if I could create a visual language capable of transfering my thoughts and emotions directly to who observes, without the filter of language?
So I selected a few of my poems, and begun to meditate on each of them allowing the movements of the mind to create a dance on the white paper, the pencil carves on the surface waves, stories and at times glimpses of visions, letting the flow of emotions guide my hand.
Each image contains dozens of Symbols, therefore I have chosen to be essential in the form by using only two colours, black and white, which represent presence and absence, full and empty, thoughts and reality in the complex game of the opposites.
