Drawn with Graphite pencil over 80 ish hours on Bristol Smooth Board

Tom O'brien Holy Moly! This is such an exquisite rendering. I don't know if it's compelling enough as a subject, though as time passes, it may grow more interesting.. But your technique is just amazing.

Matthew Deakin Thanks Tom. Appreciate your comment. The reason I drew this was not only because I find these type of lightbulb fascinating. They're taken for granted really. A simple bulb that produces light when turned on. Yet they're not simple really. All the little intricate parts that enable it to produce light.
Also, the combination of metal and glass that produces different lights and shadows when light shines on it is beautiful.
