The Winning Hand draws upon thoughts of life and gambling, how the turn of a card could change a life for the better or worse.
(A Film still from a black and white movie)
A man in a suit holding a knife (threateningly/defensively) by a table full of cards (solitaire/poker) and a bottle of coke (half full or half empty), superimposed on top is another man, like a corpse exquisite (is it his opponent/the same man with the knife?). One is trapped in a structure of boxes piled one on top of the other, half unraveling. The man of time holds a rope (noose) and wears a watch and a wedding ring. His eyes speak of danger and fury.
