A strange happening under an otherwise calm blue sea requires Little Red to make an important decision. This is an original artist book from my 'Little Red' series of artist books and one off pieces. Little Red's adventures are inspired by the ideas, thoughts and wonderings of my 4 year old daughter. However, these stories are most often intended for an adult audience as they hold a mirror to the many unknowns we face with such braveness as children. These stories rely on images and symbols with little or no text, besides a title Little Red is adventurous and incredibly brave. She always has a solution and rises to the occasion. She’s got lots of stories to tell you and is in no hurry. She notices the small things. This work, as with all my work, use high quality specialty papers; unryushi, abaca and Indian silk being my favoured choices, for beautiful textures.
