This collage represents the struggle to save our environment and our planet.
On one side the abuse that she gets through raping her resources and the dumping of industrial materials in the sea & on land. On the other side the turn to new forms cleaner energy and ways to conserve and protect mother earth from further damage.
The narrow margin is the path that both sides should tread to come together and make a better world.
The collage is mainly painted in oils with natural powdered amber on a canvas board.
The winding path and the Profile face on the horizon are painted in oils that is mixed with natural powdered amber,
which in both cases gives the collage a rough structure with a soft texture to.
The profile represents love, respect and peace and the need for each other.
