"Hotel Commodore, Paris" is a work that just happened! I had come across an old original French newspaper from the 1920's and enjoyed reading all the headlines. Within a few minutes, it was stuck down onto board and quickly painted over, with just a few highlight titles remaining.

In addition to this, a small block of wood has been applied to the surface, creating a three dimensional aspect to the work, as well as a small stone, painted tile in the top section as well.

The painting is very much inspired by Paris and my time there. If it sells - I look forward to being able to go back! Thank you.
