Luciano de Liberato lives and works in Chieti (Italy). He begun working in art back in 1975, immediately arousing much interest among the most prominent Italian art critics and historians(Filiberto Menna, Maurizio Fagiolo dell'Arco, Enrico Crispolti, Lorenza Trucchi)by whom he was considered a painting young master and one of the great Italian colorists. After a rich activity at national and international scale, with prestigious appearances, such as Art Basel 1983 and 1984 (solo exhibitions, Galleria Artivisive Roma), in the early 80s he decided to continue his art research in total isolation. Since 1990 he uses a unique and highly personal language, as well as authentic poetics that are away from fashions and mannerist trends.
Since 2011 working in international environments.
In 2012 one of his works in New York was chosen as the image of the Lincoln Center Festival
