Antonia Harrison is Curator at Compton Verney in the UK which has worked with artists including Delaine Le Bas, Peter Greenaway, Susan Hiller, Sigrid Holmwood, Leonid Tishkov and Luc Tuymans. With a particular interest in exhibitions which thematically explore the links between historic art and craft, Harrison has previously curated shows including ‘The Artist’s Studio’ (2009) and ‘The Fabric of Myth’ (2008), which explored the language and visual representation of textiles in both historic, contemporary and outsider art. Most recently she has curated exhibitions by Alfred Wallis and Ben Nicholson (2011) and has worked with artist Paul Ryan on an interventionist project called ‘What the Folk Say’ (March – Dec 2011), which involves 20 artists selecting objects from Compton Verney’s British Folk Art Collection.
