I am an Artist living and working in Yorkshire. My years in Art Education were spent at Doncaster Church View, followed by a 3 year degree at Canterbury Christ Church University in Kent where I achieved a First Class in Fine Art Painting. It was in Kent that I won a scholarship to study a Masters in Drawing at the Prince’s Drawing School in London. During my study at the Prince’s Drawing School I was selected to receive the ‘Richard Ford’ Award for Drawing which enabled me to study from the great paintings and sculptures held at the Prado Museum, Madrid.
I am currently working on a life-size sculpture to be placed on permanent display in Doncaster. Alongside the sculpture I am working on a new series of paintings which are a direct response to my immediate environment. This includes portraits, urban scenes and still-life painting.
