I was born in 1951 in a suburb of Hamburg.I spent many years abroad combining artwork, photogaphy and language studies. Currently I am living in Selva, Mallorca, Balearic Islands, however, my second home is Berlin where I spend several months a year.I consider painting and being creative an adventure and at the same time a permanent struggle in a battle zone.I am a keen observer of people and nature trying to express a mood and to bring a subtle humour into my work.
