My life meant to be largely influenced by different cultures, starting from the Middle East where I was born, then around the Mediterranean where I grew up, and Europe, Asia, West Africa and now East Africa where I have been working. Art is a good mean to generate intercultural relationships and my biggest satisfaction is when my painting can be understood by people from all continents. I sign my work DUMOAs an autodidact, I have experimented all techniques and now focuss on oil, acrylic and mixt materials and consider my work as being part of the abstract expressionism. Picasso said: Art is 60% of work and also All my life I have been looking to paint as a child. I agree with him for work but I would rather evoke the capacity to let your primitive intuition grow again more than to paint like a child. The artist is in fact someone permanently unsatisfied who create all the time, in a way to misfeed what is ephemeral. There is a certain tragedy and game challenge of death and a sensual relationship with the object that finds its purpose in communicating.Hope is given by renewing shapes and effects and also the being that is the model of creation for an artist. My life is a safari, my painting is the print and the inspiration is coming out from resting. When waking up, I find the link between the elements that created my dreams and generated my safaris.I also experimented visual arts such as photography, films and theatre.
