I create my work from brief, precarious arrangements of small, neutral or insignificant subject matter.
I use observation, relationship, scale and metaphor to create a sense of clarity and space and give form to my sensibility.
I refer to the still life painting tradition and, by the nature of the attention I bring to my work, try to create visual meditations that are layered, poetic and stop time.
