I call my work “abstract landscape”, a set of physical, mental and emotional factors, that are layered together on the canvas. They are ordinary and extraordinary empathtic perceptions of the everyday life. Generally this is expressed through painting, engraving and installation and the result is a painting belonging to the genre of landscape, with a fragmented style levels, which the viewer is able to move creating his own configuration. Sometime appears some figurative references, sometimes just the connective tissue that holds together the perceptions. A passionate collector of my work, one day made ​​this observation: “Every morning when I wake up I see something different in your landscape”.
Paolo Durandetto graduated in Decoration at Accademia Albertina in Turin and Technical Graphics Industry and Photolithography at the Vigliardi Paravia Institute of Turin. At the experimentation in the field of Art has joined the daily work of Graphic Design and the study of Naturopathy.
