I Live and work in NYC. Began drawing and painting in my early teens. I studied Fine Artts at the School of Visual Arts. My facination with masking tape and paint came out of being bored one day in a figure drawing class at SVA. A subconscious force prompted me to go downstairs and buy making tape and spray paint. I created my first painting that day in this style. I¹ve been working in this style ever since, though no longer use spray paint and no longer inspired by boredom I draw most of my inspiration from nature especially movement
from wind. Some of my influences have been Frank Stella, James Nares, and Brice Marden. I have been exhibiting my art since 1990.
