Margo Majewska is a multidisciplinary artist and an architect based in San Francisco. Born in Poland, she attended the Women's School of Architecture and the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw before moving to New York where she received a BFA with Honors from Parsons School of Design and a MArch from Columbia University.
Margo’s professional interests began with the integration of art and architecture and gradually moved towards installation arts. She began exhibiting her own work in 2001. She is now pursuing a two faceted carrier combining art and architecture with a focus on public art.
Her design work and drawings have been published in the Polish magazine Murator, Progressive Architecture, Architectural Record and Zyzzyva, and she has received a number of honors and design awards.
In 2007 her art portfolio was accepted by the Drawing Center in New York, and is available for viewing through the Drawing Center web site.
Currently she teaches drawing and design at the California College of the Arts and at the Art Institute of California.
