Robyn Nesbitt (b.1984) currently works and lives in Johannesburg.
Her interest lies in the observation of the everyday. In her work she
focuses on her desire and need to draw out what is overlooked. In her
videos she examines her social and psychological conditions. Her
recent MFA body of work, ‘Not today, but tomorrow’, is derived from a
personal tension, an unknown anxiety towards her family and domestic
environment, which emerged when she acknowledged the possibility of
her grandmother’s death.
