    I agree, digital manipulation is not necessarily art. Nor is using a brush and oil paint , nor any classical "art" technique. I think non-digital painting still can achieve experiences a digitally manipulated photography for example can't. But as a painter nowadays you just have to face additional competition – as painters had to when photography rose.

    Patrick Harris There are some great digital works out there. And it is art. I simply prefer to paint with oil. Selection of media is a personal choice and more & more artists are switching to digital, likely because they can be more effective with it.

    jorge Rivas I love painting in its traditional form, is very difficult to achieve effects and developments in it,... the computation and the digitization facilitate the work and decrease the time of realization of a work by creating fantastic things, but not credible,
    is like creating a Caruso or a Maria Callas or a Pavarotti in a recording studio with good equipment, you could achieve, but that's cheating and deceit,

    Shamil Davletkhanov Good collection, but I think that most of contemporary art looks as short shooting -something as interesting, some as unusual… My art research on eternal simple forms, it’s same as Finnish puumerkit! And who know may be in future they will be as new art genre?

The artist plays with our prejudices. He has a new collection called "Blow Job - Work of Blowing" painted using cannabis smoke. La Rocque has other series called "Colonias" with beautiful erotic images; sculptures using "plastic found in nature" called "Pet Shop" and his work called "Golden Cockroaches".

    I have been offered to join the A. Jain Marunouchi Gallery located in The New York Gallery Building in the middle of Manhattan, which is a great chance to get especially because I have not had luck with Danish galleries.

    There is an acceptance fee of 2,000,- us dollars therefore I thought if you could check out my Saatchi portfolio and hopefully buy a painting, so i can afford to pay the admission fee. It would mean a lot!
