My most recent work reflects my early life in the theatre where I worked as a dancer and actress. It recalls the dramatic and resonates with the idea of the painter and performer requiring skills courage preparation in order to spontaneously be" in the moment" . Passionate about nature , poetic language,the emblematic and architecture I work to manage this landscape .I try to embrace and respect the truth of who , and where I am ,and what my life is like physically emotionally,psychologically and spiritually. I used to enjoy the challenge of working on an edge between tradition and the contemporary but now I feel free to work with what is before me as a surface , colour line and form and the challenge is to create something ineffable the .Inspired by Sandra Blow in particular admiring Cy Twombly .
