I was born in London but find cities oppressive, so have enjoyed living in a variety of exotic locations including Thailand, Australia, Sri Lanka, Barbados, Mexico, Morocco and the Greek Islands.
She has a global client base of fans and collectors. Mixing fantasy with pop art, her main aim is to produce work that is aesthetically pleasing.
I am inspired by the clean cut, vibrant and powerful images of Rodin, Klimt, Mel Ramos, Peter Blake, Allan D'Arcangelo, James Rosenquist and David Hockney to count but a few.
My love of animals and glamour infuse my work, which is a collaboration of the two, and has stimulated a body of work that I perceive to be aesthetically pleasing.
I have painted for as long as I can remember. It is an incredible tool for escapism that I use as a window to climb into a world of fantasy rich with vivid colours, exciting images and exotic representation. I love to project my love of animals through more realistic style, including my beloved boxer dog Ella, who features regularly in my art.
Anna Bach is an accomplished artist who trained formally at the Heatherley School of Fine Art, followed by Falmouth College of Art, and finally attended a sculpture school in Park Walk, Chelsea. She also studied under Anne James and the late Jean Gibson both of the Royal Academy.
