Alex Stursberg is a self taught visual artist living in Vancouver who practices drawing, painting, sculpture and collage. He is a member of the Red Gate Studio and has displayed his art in both Vancouver, Victoria and Ottawa. His work celebrates juvenile optimism and innocence while confessing to grown-up concerns and distress. He is influenced by his friends, psychedoolia, animals, rock art, the outdoors, and 80's cartoons.
