Adam R Grose

Adam R Grose

About

1971 - Born in Truro, Cornwall.

Adam's practice is a response to the contemporary world we inhabit. His research and observations, through imagery appropriated from various Media outlets, explore past and present moments of history enabling a re-evaluation their reality, seeking out what was missed in its first reading, our participation with perception and how we read images and texts.

His current research involves printed and digital photographic media exploring its rich visual language. Through exploring the role of representation and the commoditised reproducible image, Adam explores ideas based on: Saturation, layering, manipulation, obscurity, artificial constructs, uncertainty, interpretation and the participatory relationship of providing a language to the perception of reality.
