Born in Swindon, Wiltshire, 16.04.1982"Over the past couple of years my work has mainly been inspired by modern culture and how it relates to the decadence of consumerist society. The characters and imagery that reside in the paintings are instinctive and often satirical reactions to how I feel about the world. I enjoy working quickly on either found or handmade objects, finding the process to be liberated by working on a 'non precious' surface. I generally find the outcome to be most exciting when the subject matter and the process come together in a final product that is both chaotic yet simple"
