PAULO ACENCIO DE ARAUJO was born in Juazeiro, Bahia, Brazil, on 30 days of June 1944. Lives in São Paulo since 1958. He studied drawing and painting in the atelier of the master Abedante Romano from 1962 to 1966. The classical training allowed him the use of different materials and techniques, absorbing a great versatility in the creation and execution of many styles and trends. His preferred technique is oil on canvas and his current style, the Fantastic Realism.
