About

I was born in Athens-Greece, on New Year's Day in 1962. I have worked with charcoal, graphite, inks, oil and soft pastels, acrylics, oils, mixed media and clay.Although I have a MFA degree, I consider myself self- taught. To learn is to experience. For better or worse, I make my own decisions. I am not on somebody else's path. All the disappointments, frustration, mistakes and discoveries that hopefully come out from them are mine too. My teachers are the works of visual artists I see in galleries, museums, on the internet, on TV, in movies, on cd covers, and graffiti).I do not use models. I rather paint, draw or sculpt what's inside of me. Creativity is taking a ride through the alien landscape of the subconscious. The silenced mind is the vehicle, the heart is the driver.
