Born 1949, Griffith, NSW, Australia.Studied Medicine at the University of Sydney and practiced as a family doctor for 34 years and changed to full time art practice in 2008. He is a fellow of the Royal Art Society of NSW, a member of the Australian Watercolour Institute and a member of Portrait Artists Australia.Peter works as a professional portrait artist but he also does still life, landscape, and figurative works in different styles and in different media. He regards his art practice as a search for excellence irrespective of trends & fashion. In his paintings he aims to capture the the light on objects and the space around them and in portraits he aims to make the subject appear real and alive.
