Janet Orselli
About
My work is a process of connection; I put pieces and parts together creating a new whole. Through my sculptures and installations I want to communicate the power of transformation as well as question standardized ideas about value and beauty. That could be why I am drawn to old and worn objects and spaces. I want to uncover their beauty and give them a purpose - a new life filled with meaning. For if old things can be transformed then maybe … so can we.
