Born Southampton ,UK. Brought up and educated in Edinburgh . Has travelled and worked abroad before motherhood and further art education. My work is inspired by nature in all its forms;it provides us with all the best designs even in the most mundane surroundings. The only requirement is closer observation, a skill most of us have neglected with our busy lives. In the transition from sketchbook to final work the images often become semi-abstracted with exploitation of colour and form.
