Laura uses traditional darkroom photography as a means to communicate her observations on gaze and beauty, using her own experiences as a catalyst, and for two years she has been documenting her relationship through this medium.
Many (if not all) relationships contain unfavorable qualities and unconventional circumstance, no matter how significant. But it is the unconditional disregard toward this vulgarity that is so beautiful. To know one another unguarded goes to shape a rare and unparalleled intimacy.
Surreality is a relatively new experimentation in Laura’s work, where she has
started to introduce objects into both in her photography and in her installations.
