Krijn van Noordwijk (Rotterdamn 1958) is a multi-discipline artist/ designer who now concentrates on photography.
Krijn was one of the founders of LABORATORIVM in Amsterdam, a small creative cell that mixed art and commercial work. In the past years Krijn was involved in numerous award-winning campaigns and other projects. Krijn's photography combines classical aestatics with a contemporary view on people and emotions. Inspired by (in no particular order) DJ Krush, Piet Mondriaan, Iggy Pop, Mark Quinn, Jimi Hendrix, Sensation, David Lachapelle, Joel Peter Witkin, Mark Rothko, Jurassic Five, Francis Bacon, Man Ray and many many others.
Born in Rotterdam, 1958. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts (now the Willem de Kooning Academy) in Rotterdam during the 1980's, Was involved in many Art Directors Club Netherlands exhibitions thereafter up till now, and also in ADCE (Europe) exhibits. Future Shows: Krijn's work got several merits at the PANL photography shows in Amsterdam, and will be up in te next one too. His work is now featured in many magazines in the Netherlands and will be on show in several group exhibitions in 2006.
