Born 1962 in Oxford, United Kingdom. I now live in East London with my husband and daughter. My paintings rendered primarily in oils on canvas are inspired by nature. I work mostly from photographs that I have taken of the natural world around me. When something catches my attention I have to capture it and then translate that into a painting. I paint in a realistic, almost photorealistic way and I feel that my works depict a heightened reality.
