Gwendolyn was born in 1975 in Montreal, Quebec and raised in a small town in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. She grew up surrounded by artists and creativity.Her mother and grandmother, were both landscape and portrait painters, her father created sculptures from found objects for their gardens, her sister a jewellery and stained glass maker, her neighbor a potter. Another family member, created the Cross and Chalice for the Cathedral of Liverpool and another designed the Molson Export label.By being raised in such a creative environment, Gwendolyn always knew she wanted to be an artist.My husband and I have begun to collaborate on a series of paintings. We have received a lot of great feedback about the work and are enjoying the collaboration process.
