A lifelong art lover and collector, now retired, I have at last found the time to return to painting which I more or less gave up in college. Following in the footsteps of an artist mother and grandfather I have been painting again for about 3 years after a lapse of nearly 50 and have built up quite a large portfolio most of which is shown on my own web-site while I have picked out a few here which might interest patrons of the Saatchi Gallery.
After a spell in the Army Air Corps, mainly in Germany I returned to the family motor business and later built-up my own little group of car dealerships in N.London & Hertfordshire which ran until 2006. Education
Went to the Haberdasher's Aske's School in Hampstead,London until age 16 when I got a scholarship to study in the States. Graduated from Westside High,Omaha and then studied for a business degree at Hastings College,Nebraska.
Returned home to London, was called-up for the army, passed through Mons Officer Cadet School and on into the newly formed Army Air Corps which triggered my lifelong love of flying.I only gave up my pilot's licence a few years ago due to the soaring cost of private flying in U.K.…Read More
