Naturalism, I suppose is the key word to describe me and influences my work. Even the surrealistic works. To me nature is the beginning and the end of everything and that in-between. Beauty, colour, form, construction and purpose. All is controlled by nature. Somewhere in nature are the lines, curves, colours and textures that an artist can use, and therefore, the artist is replicating nature in some form. I was never educated in what to think. There are comments in my works about various things. Some minimal. Look and you will see and hopefully form an opinion free from dogma. To me art should be beautiful, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder......
