Born 1978, Gosford, New South Wales, Australia. Georgina Campbell recently completed a Masters of Visual Art at Monash University. She has previously completed a Graduate Diploma of Education, Monash (2007), B.A. (Hons) from Deakin University (2001) and a Graduate Certificate of Arts & Entertainment Management (2003). Recent solo exhibitions include Bibliography, at Brunswick Street Galleries and The Grandfather Paradox at the Queensland Centre for Photography and numerous inclusions in art prizes including the William & Winifred Bowness Prize 2010, The Flanagan Art Prize 2010, Erotica National Acquisitive Art Prize 2010, Churchie Emerging Artist Awards 2010, Muswellbrook Photographic Awards 2010, Prometheus Art Awards, 2009 and Agendo Art Awards, 2009. Recent group exhibitions include: Capture, Town Hall Gallery (2008), Exploration Seven, Flinders Lane Gallery (2007). Other activities have included founding and directing The Plastic Photo Show, an annual open entry photography exhibition, from 2003 to 2008, and authoring The Plastic Photo Show The Book, published in 2007.
