I was born in 1963 in Karaganda, which is the capital of the former USSR republic Kazakhstan. In 1984 I graduated from the Art School of Bryansk and in 1993 I graduated from the Art University of Stroganov in Moscow (the graphic design faculty). In 1993 I became a member of the Artists' Union of Russia. From the year of 1988 I have had more than 35 exhibitions in Russia and abroad. My pictures are in the privite and corporate collections all the Europe over and in Russia.
The style of my paitings can be described as the one of ethnic-fantasy . I am deeply submerged into the exotic world of the East and especially into the ethnic flavour of Mongolia,Kalmykia,Japon. The calm philosophy of Buddhism impresses me much. I seriously study the culture of the East, its history, folk costumes and ornaments and put my knowledge into my painting practice. At the same time I add some fantasy, sensual and erotic motifs to my pictures to discover the exciting oriental nature and exotic colors.
