Erik Peterson
About
As a curator, I have been aware of Erik's work via Black Sun Productions (Zurich) and Ron Athey (California/London) for a number of years. I believe that Erik has successfully created an identity for himself as an artist, working extensively across a number of disciplines including photography, mixed media and installation, yet maintaining a signature style. Erik's work plays with concepts such as glamour, celebrity, feminism and queer politics in a sophisticated and knowing way. His dry humor is very much to the fore.
