Visual artist Emma Grice was born in Limerick, Ireland in 1978. She graduated top of her year and obtained a BA in Art and Design (With Distinction) and a BA in Fine Art Printmaking (With Distinction) from GMIT Art College in Galway, Ireland in 2009. In 2008 Grice received the Bank of Ireland Student of the Year award and consecutively in 2009 the Allied Irish Bank Student of the Year award.
