I work with a language of symbols and colour of which the circle is predominant. The circle becomes a sphere, a visual metaphor for the universe, for climate and its manifestations.
To quote Gaston Bachelard in The Poetics of Space, the sphere becomes ‘the maximum of unity - the image of being’.
Placement, time and space have become important to me as I delve into the complexities of the inner and outer, the vast verses the minute, the sciences of the physical world and our universe.
