Dubravka, Artis Laudabilis (by the Award Committee of the Europa Authentica) and the overall winner of the head-to-head competition of the Saatchi Gallery in London, is an artist that has a thorough command of the "oil paint on glass" technique.
She has developed this ancient and almost forgotten technique into a distinctive style.
The work is strongly figurative/surreal with impressionist elements and contains a considerable amount of symbolism.
Each painting tells its own unique story.

The combination of oil paint and rigid glass gives a special intense effect. The end result is a painting with a powerful clear use of colour. Because of her work with oil and glass she received many prizes both home and abroad for her work.

Deze zeer oude en bijna vergeten techniek heeft zij tot een compleet eigen stijl ontwikkeld. Het werk is sterk figuratief-surrealistisch met impressionistische elementen en bevat een grote mate van symboliek. Ieder schilderij vertelt een eigen, uniek, verhaal.

De overgang van strak glas naar olieverf geeft een bijzonder intensief effect. Het eindresultaat is een schilderwerk met een krachtig en intens helder kleurgebruik.

Dubravka est une artiste qui a t rcompense "Artis Laudabilis" par le Comit de l'Europa Authentica et qui a aussi t le rcent vainqueur du concours par eliminatoire de la Galerie Saatchi Londres. Elle matrise parfaitement la peinture l'huile sur verre qu'elle a reprise de techniques anciennes et presque oublies pour en faire un style particulier. Son oeuvre est figure/surraliste avec des lments d'impressionisme; elle fait une large place au symbolisme. Chaque tableau exprime une histoire particulire.
