Originally from Haslemere, Surrey, Laura studied at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design, and moved to London in 2004 where she continues to live and work having obtained a degree in Graphic Design with illustration as her primary focus at London College of Communication, University of the Arts London. Living in London has really bought her direction into focus as she has learnt to depict society and life with extremely sophisticated artistic style.
Since Laura’s first international footing at the 2008 New York Affordable Art Fair she has continued developing her personal portfolio, particularly isolating and illustrating captions of urban life. Not only does Laura create scenes of London depicting architectural, political and social movement, but she has also started to spread her wings working on cities at home such as Manchester and Brighton and as far a field as the Americas with work on New York and Rio de Janeiro.
