About

I was born in 1975, Santiago de Chile; drawing and plastic art activities had accompany me since I was a child. Also I like music and poetry (guitar and vocals).

In the University I had a good academy technique but I had prefer to make an investigation about the nature of the creative action as psychic happens of the artistic representation, in relation with my experience, development and formation. My proposition explores considerations about human existence, philosophy and psychology of arts in creational process. I pretend to approach painting as a writing, as a language to generates a visual lecture that captures the fugacity of the creative act. The crisis, in my understanding of the representation. I mean, the abstraction. The foundation of this proposition is in the wish to offer a perspective about the creative logic of automatic writing.

Education

I studied two years the career of psychology before join to the degree program of visual arts in the Universidad de Chile; afterward I obtained the bachelors degree of Painter. I was graduated with higher distinction. I made a digital expression course in the framework of the Art & Literature Colective Conmocions activities, an extensional drawing course and the elective courses of engrave and photography in the University of Chile. In 2006 I made (drawings and edition) of the project POEMICS: Chilean contemporary poems in comics, and in 2008 the project "Poema de Pepito" an illustrated colored book for children in social risk. Both projects were financed by the National Council of Culture and Arts,and the distribution was free to the comunity.
As a painter I have exposed in several places in collective and individual shows. At present I work as painting and drawing teacher, for children, young and adult people, in an Academy of Arts and in the project of culture access "Expression Park"
