Andrea Doering was born in 1968 in Bremen/Germany.
After Andrea noticed, that the study of economics wouldt satisfy her for her life, she worked at a photo lab to get practical experience. In the year 2000 she took on the challenge to build her own business. Andrea is now a photographer and runs together with her colleague the studio WERK1.
She studied at the art school in Doetlingen (Thomas Hoffmann and Hans-Dieter Hahn), at the studio Artenreich in Nienburg, at the art school in Ottersberg, Felix Eckardt from Hamburg an School of Arts, Bremen. Painting takes more and more place in her artistic work.
She started to paint in watercolor, tried paintings in oilcolor and now mostly works with acrylic paint. She creates a courageous mixture of colors and materials; everything that touches her imagination. Impressions and emotions are captured in expressive paintings. Situations are sketched, brought to the significance and banishes on a canvas.
With her most recent project Henshouse Andrea has built an art studio at her home village Oyle. Here she can utilise the quite life of the countryside for her artistic work. …Read More
