Born in Kent, Janet Darley FRSA MiFL UA works as a community artist and tutor.>Enjoys working en plein air and creates impressionistic and abstract images in gouache, using organic forms and found objects as a starting point.Selected to exhibit in the Royal Watercolour Society Contemporary 2013,Pre Selected for the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour 2013 and The Threadneedle Prize exhibition 2012 and The Royal Watercolour Society Contemporary Watercolour Exhibition 2012. Elected as a member of The United Society of Artists.Shortlisted for NOAC 2011, shortlisted for The Art of Giving, Saatchi exhibition and second staged for the John Moores Prize 2010

chatham Grammar School for Girls, Medway College of Art. Achieved 2nd Stage selection at John Moores Contemporary 2010 and was also shortlisted for the Saatchi Exhibition Art Of Giving.
