This unique view of the Statue of Liberty is a photograph that combines a feeling of motion and extraordinary color in a panoramic view. My friend and art director Bo Saunders called me to come up with a fresh idea for Newsweeks picture editor Jim Kenney and their 50th anniversary editions centerfold. I worked on this one in cold blistery weather. Setting my Nikon F4 on a tripod with a remote firing device I triggered several frames while slowly moving the tripod pro ball head left to right to acheive the glow and movement effect of the torch motion. it's been one of my highly sought after artworks. Giclees are printed on the finest archival paper with non fading dyes, and shipped in a reinforced tube to ensure safe arrival. The other option is a canvas print that stretches all around the frame comes in three sections and is ready to hang. Also available is a single section canvas print or giclee either framed or unframed. It's signed with my authentication and copyright on the back.
