About The Artwork
In Korea, traditionally, peony flowers mean wealth and wealth. I wanted to dress the children with peony flowers. Also, children think that they resemble nature and are part of it. I wanted to compare very precious and lovely children to flowers. I present this work to all the children of this land. This work was painted with traditional pigments on traditional Korean paper. Traditional hanji made of a plant called dak is enough to give the painting a deep atmosphere.
